in order to expand my originality and horizons… another Lamb of God cover; “Blacken the Cursed Sun.” I play this one with no song accompaniment, and i stick to the lead part… i think… hard to hear sometimes which part should be lead.
"I have a habit of falling in love with souls who have yet to be at peace with their bodies, their minds, their weaknesses. I try to build them, to find the parts of them that are missing in me.
I end up with holes in my chest."
A man rests at the bow of a pier. Swells crash, ever so near. The salt of the sea used to humbly welcome the harvest from his fishing, though seldom. Cast out his line, 8 or even 9 only to find his bait consumed though that was just fine. Weave once more, a faithful donation just to have it swallowed and rinsed out torrents of the blue, deeper than his dedication. Crests of the horizon reflect the solar, slowly setting there’s nothing like wishful thinking when the efforts are sinking with the evening sun. His hopes rise with the evening tide only to watch a storm roll in. and yet, the bow of this pier he will bide. If its not one, it’s the other. The smother of the surf or the threat of thunder.
Does the lighthouse ever wonder if it lets her ships just, wander would they head for shore or have the sails to graze the rocks no more? To find safety in her harbor or to spin adrift, like an arbor?
